Founded in 2018, Northcare Training is the vision of Mary Javier, RN, BSN — a passionate nurse educator, experienced RN Delegator, and DSHS-approved Community Instructor. With over a decade of hands-on experience in both hospital and Adult Family Home (AFH) settings, Mary brings real-world insight and compassion to every course she teaches. Mary began her healthcare journey in 2011 as an AFH caregiver and quickly advanced her career, earning her RN from Shoreline Community College and later her BSN from the University of Washington, Bothell. She spent six years as a Medical-Surgical Nurse in a busy hospital, while also serving as a Nurse Delegator since 2013 — providing vital training and mentorship to caregivers across Washington. Driven by a deep commitment to education, Mary founded Northcare Training to offer high-quality, accessible nursing courses that truly prepare students for success. Her goal? To empower caregivers and aspiring nurses with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to elevate care standards and transform lives.
