HCA to NAC Bridge Program

The Bridge Nursing Assistant training program is a way for Home Care Aides-Certified (HCA-C) to become Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC). The Bridge program will focus on the training that is not included in the HCA program including but not limited to obtaining vital signs, checking height and weight, and recording input and output. This program includes 24 hours of lecture, skills lab training and clinical training. This program course is divided into three days: 8 hours of classroom, 8 hours of skills lab, and 8 hours of clinical. After completing the training, students are required to apply and take the test to be licensed NAC.
