NorthCare Training
This is a DSHS required 75-hour classroom and skills lab training that is required for caregivers who will be providing care to residents residing in home care agencies, adult family home and assisted living facilities. This course will provide caregivers the training and education to perform activities of daily living (toileting, oral care, transfers, etc.), understand resident rights and promote the health and well-being of residents. This course will require 75-hour contact training. After completing the training, students are required to apply and take the test to be licensed HCA.
