The Traditional Certified Nursing Assistant program is designed to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to deliver quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. The program emphasizes on hands on training, clinical experiences and theoretical coursework to prepare students as competent, compassionate and certified nursing assistants.
Training includes 35 hours of lecture at the school, 33 hours of skills training at the school and 40 hours of clinical experience in a nursing facility. Classes are held three days a week for 4 weeks and 4 days a week on week 5. Total program hours are 108.
