Unique NextGen Healthcare Training maintains adequate facilities and equipment to support classroom, laboratory, clinical, hybrid, and asynchronous online instruction. The school operates in an up-to-date facility that includes a reception area and two classrooms designed to support instruction and testing. The building is equipped with appropriate heating and air conditioning, adequate lighting, and an atmosphere conducive to learning. Classrooms include audiovisual instructional aids such as TV screens, projector, and white boards. Student amenities include a beverage/snack area with tables and chairs, microwave, refrigerator, and sink. Separate restrooms are available for male and female students. Parking is available in a well-lit parking lot, and the facility is located near public transportation. The skills laboratory is arranged to simulate a healthcare environment and contains sufficient space and equipment for enrolled students to practice skills safely. Equipment includes four hospital beds, two wheelchairs (small and large), one manikin, two bedside commodes, four bedside tables, three sinks, and a variety of patient-care supplies. Additional training items include (but are not limited to) bath basins, dentures, walkers, toothbrushes, emesis basins, bedpans, linens, and instructional reference materials. Equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order. The program also provides resources and technology to support hybrid and asynchronous online theory instruction delivered through Cinematic Ready cna, the school’s learning management system (LMS). Facilities and instructional resources support all modes of delivery and meet Washington State Board of Nursing requirements for approved Nursing Assistant training programs.
