Traditional NA-C Program
Nursing Assistant-Certified provides training for skills and behaviors needed for working under the direction of Licensed medical professionals in administering basic nursing care to patients. The Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C) program is a comprehensive course designed to prepare students for the fundamental skills needed to provide basic care to those in need. This course takes 122 hours divided as follows: Theory - 43 hours, Skills Lab - 39 hours, and Clinical - 40 hours. Patient care areas range from nursing homes, hospice, hospitals, home care and more. The NA-C Program includes a combination of classroom learning, laboratory practice, and supervised hands-on clinical training in a Long-Term Care facility.
