Applications of Yoga Therapy takes the knowledge students have gained from Foundations of Yoga Therapy into clinical practice. In Applications we study anatomy, physiology, psychology and Ayurveda in depth. Through the focused lens of yoga we learn how to approach chronic pain and illness in a holistic way, individualizing the tools of yoga to create therapeutically healing practices for clients. Students are required to meet for a minimum of 150 F2F hours with clients, in a supervised practicum. At the culmination of Applications, they can apply to IAYT to become a C-IAYT, Certified Yoga Therapist.
