EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER

The Emergency Medical Responder course is an entry-level emergency medical provider course that will prepare the students for employment or a volunteer position in a variety of pre-hospital, industrial and first responder settings. Areas of study include an introduction to emergency medical services systems, roles, and responsibilities of the EMR. It also includes basic knowledge of medical emergencies, trauma, special considerations for working in the prehospital setting, and providing patient transportation.
