This course is to prepare a student choosing to apply for an entry level position within the transportation industry with the skills and knowledge to obtain a job requiring a Class "B" Commercial Driver License, in accordance with the Entry Level Driver Training Requirements in Part 380 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation. Once the student passes the skills test, they are eligible to pay the appropriate license fees at a Washington State Department of Licensing Office to add "Class B Commercial Driver" to their Washington State Driver License. HazMat Portion: This course if for those who choose to add the "hazardous materials endorsement" to their Commercial Driver License. Once the student attends class, completes the required background check and finger printing process described at tsa.gov, and passes the WA DOL knowledge test, they are eligible to pay the appropriate fees at a Washington State Department of Licensing Office to add the HazMat endorsement to their Commercial Driver License.
