This course if for those who choose to add the "hazardous materials endorsement" to their Commercial Driver License. Once the student attends class, completes the required background check and finger printing process described at tsa.gov, and passes the WA DOL knowledge test, they are eligible to pay the appropriate fees at a Washington State Department of Licensing Office to add the HazMat endorsement to their Commercial Driver License.
Must be 21 years old with a valid WA State CLP or CDL. Must be able to pass DOT drug test and medical exam. Must read, write, and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
NOTE: TSA.gov background check will be required to obtain your HazMat endorsement.
