This course is to prepare a student choosing to apply for an entry level position within the transportation industry with the additional skills and education needed to obtain a job requiring a Class "A" Commercial Driver License, in accordance with the Entry Level Driver Training Requirements in Part 380 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation. Upon successful completion of this course, the student must pass their final skills test with a State Examiner or Authorized Third Party Examiner. Once the student passes the skills test, they are eligible to pay the appropriate license fees at a Washington State Department of Licensing Office to add the "Class A" endorsement to their current Washington State, "Class B" Commercial Driver License.
