This course is to prepare a student choosing to apply for an entry level position within the transportation industry with the additional skills and education needed to obtain a job requiring a CDL with a Passenger Endorsement, in accordance with the Entry Level Driver Training Requirements in Part 380 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation. To qualify for this course a student must hold a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Learners Permit or Commercial Driver License or be simultaneously enrolled in a Class A CDL or Class B CDL course. This course is composed of two different areas of education. Upon successful completion of this course, the student must pass their final skills test with a State Examiner or Authorized Third Party Examiner. Once the student passes the skills test, they are eligible to pay the appropriate license fees at a Washington State Department of Licensing Office to add "Passenger Endorsement" to their Commercial Driver License.
