This training course is designed to comply with the revalidation requirements for STCW Basic Training as delineated in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 46 (11.302(d) and (12.602(d). Our U.S. Coast Guard Approved Basic Training Revalidation course satisfies the continued competency requirements for Personal Survival Techniques and Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting in STCW as amended 2010, Section A-VI/1, 46 CFR 11.302(d) and 46 CFR 12.602(d), as required every five years for mariners sailing under the STCW requirements, PROVIDED that the individual has [and submits to the U.S. Coast Guard NMC] at least 360 DAYS OF QUALIFYING SEA SERVICE in the last 5 years on vessels that are REQUIRED to hold regular fire, emergency, and abandon ship drills, AND has been previously certified per Section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code. This 1-day Revalidation course is a U.S. Coast Guard-approved course and therefore may not be accepted by foreign governments/employers.
