This course is intended to comply with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) training requirement for Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting. It includes both theoretical and practical training as outlined in the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW), specifically in table A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code as amended. The course also adheres to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), particularly 46 CFR Part 11, Part 12, and Part 13, as well as USCG National Maritime Center policies.
