Waterversity: Drinking Water Treatment Courses Operator In Training

Waterversity is a ten-session program that is design to prepare eager professionals for a career in the water industry. During the course students are thoroughly prepared to take the State certification proficiency examination to become an Operator in the treatment of drinking water. This certification allows students to become eligible to apply and receive job offers a high paying job that offer long lasting career in the water sector industry. The Operator in Training course is designed to teach practical and responsible methods used to operate and maintain a water conveyance system. The material presented during this course includes an introduction to water treatment plants, the role of the operator, source water, reservoir management, and preparation for the certification proficiency examination.
