Waterversity: Wastewater Treatment State Examination Preparation Operator in Training

Waterversity is a ten-session course that is design to prepare eager professionals for a career in the water industry. During the course students are thoroughly prepared to take the State certification proficiency examination to become an Operator in the treatment of wastewater. This certification allows students to become eligible to apply and receive job offers for high paying jobs that offer long lasting careers in the water industry. The Operator in Training course is designed to teach practical and responsible methods used to operate and maintain a water conveyance system. The material presented during this course includes an introduction to wastewater treatment plants, the role of the operator, biological treatment, disinfection, and preparation for the certification proficiency examination.
