40 Hour Refresher

This course if for those who need additional training. The course is customized to meet the needs of the student and is scheduled by appointment only. Students take this course for various reasons e.g. they want to prepare for testing to remove an Manual transmission restriction from their current CDL; they have previously completed training, but would like a refresher before skills testing, they would like additional training to increase confidence in skill such as backing and cornering, they are starting a new commercial driving role and would like a refresher, etc. Contact us for a free consultation to design a 40 refresher class that meets your needs. This course results in increased skill and is not specifically designed to achieve a specific certification.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Specific prerequisites vary based on focus of refresh training. Please contact our office for more information. In general, for CDL training, student must be 18 years old with a valid WA State Driver's license and no disqualifying events on driving record. Must be able to pass DOT drug test and medical exam. Must read, write, and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
