The Graduate Certificate in Systems Security (SysSec) provides marketable skills grounded in the principles of systems security and to provide a solid technology foundation for further education in the Masters in Cybersecurity (MSCY) and Doctor of Information Technology (DIT). Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will have gained a mastery of foundational skills in systems security to build a career in the area of technology and computing. Students with no prior coursework in computer programming may take a four-course undergraduate pre-requisite series for entry to the program.
