Train for a career in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in systems, networking, and security fundamentals. This program prepares students for entry-level roles in IT and cybersecurity while building skills aligned with current industry needs. Students can earn industry-recognized certifications and develop a well-rounded foundation in security, cloud, and systems, skills employers increasingly expect across technology roles. The program also offers options to continue into advanced education, including Bates’ IT Project Management BAS degree, supporting long-term career growth. The program includes multiple exit points to support different goals. A 2-quarter certificate prepares students for CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, while a 4-quarter certificate adds preparation for CompTIA Security+ and EC-Council AI Essentials. The AAS-T degree provides deeper technical training and supports transfer into bachelor’s programs. Students also complete a shared core with Software Development, allowing flexibility as they explore their interests.
