Students who complete the Environmental Horticulture Midpoint certificate will have a strong foundational knowledge of horticulture skills required in common entry-level positions in the industry. Botany, plant propagation, integrated pest management techniques, soil science, pruning, plant id, and tools will be introduced in the classroom and practiced in a real-world setting.
