A short-term training program for entry-level and reentering professionals wanting to update and expand their skill set in diversified manufacturing. With manufacturing on the rise this short-term professional technical certificate supports introductory skill building in new and traditional manufacturing techniques including industry certifications in: OSHA 30, LEAN Manufacturing, Composites and Welding. Curriculum content was developed with employer input ensuring it is relevant, meets industry needs, and is aligned with state standards for manufacturing. The goals of this program is to build a 21st century workforce to fill entry-level manufacturing positions, to provide long-term family wage employment, and to support educational and career ladders for graduates in diversified manufacturing (HAVAC, aerospace, marine, medical devices, sports equipment, etc.).
