This degree program prepares students for entry into a Information Technology-Cybersecurity and Networking, BAS program at Green River College. In addition, this applied associate's degree program prepares students for entry-level employment in a variety of IT positions, such as help desk technician, technical support specialist, network technician, and network or computer systems administrator. Students in this degree program receive foundational training in a broad range of networking, systems administration, and scripting, resulting in a balanced, well-rounded knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity. In addition to these specialized courses, students learn key interpersonal communication skills sought by employers.
