Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Applicants for Apprenticeship must be at least 17 years of age and turning 18 year of age by the time of the interview. Apprentice applicants must be high school graduates or have a passing grade on an official high school equivalency test. Applicants must provide the committee with a transcript of their high school grades or their GED test scores. All applicants must be physically capable of performing the work of this trade. See Sponsor for details on required testing and passing scores. To obtain an application, you must show a valid picture identification card, and you must pick up the application in person. The applicant must complete a Non-DOT drug test at a Lourdes Occupational Health facility with negative results (at applicants expense).
