Information Technology studies place an emphasis on teamwork. Several courses require team projects aimed at finding real-world solutions to business problems. Internships provide actual work experience. Careers in this field value logic, attention to detail, and the skill of communicating effectively. Networking and system administration is a dynamic field, and change is constant. Successful technicians must be strongly motivated self-learners. The IT curriculum prepares students with the foundation skills to become successful technicians. This degree is focused on preparing students for entry-level career positions in networking and computer support. Technical core skills dominate this degree, and related instruction courses may not transfer. This degree is focused on preparing you for entry-level career positions in computer support networking, security, and server administration jobs. As you advance through our program, you also earn valuable industry certifications from Cisco, CompTIA, and the Linux Professional Institute.
