The Intermediate Class A Commercial Driver Development Course is a 40‑hour, optional follow‑on program for recent Class A CDL trainees or new CDL holders who want additional supervised practice and coaching before entering the workforce. It emphasizes confidence‑building, safety, and professional readiness rather than meeting minimum ELDT requirements.
Completion of an approved Class A CDL training program (or equivalent recent Class A experience).
Valid Washington State CLP or CDL.
Current DOT medical certificate.
Current Washington State driving record (abstract) showing CDL eligibility.
Pass required drug test(s), if applicable, before any behind‑the‑wheel training.
