The Class C CDL training program prepares students to successfully complete the following components required for licensure through the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL):

  • Written Knowledge Tests:

    • General Knowledge (if required)

    • Passenger (P) endorsement (if applicable)

    • School Bus (S) endorsement (if applicable)

    • Air Brakes (if the vehicle is equipped with air brakes)

    • Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement (if applicable)

  • Skills Testing Preparation:

    • Vehicle inspection (pre-trip)

    • Basic control skills (backing, turning, etc.)

    • Public road driving (urban, highway, rural, and traffic scenarios)

  • ELDT Compliance:
    Instruction will follow the federally required Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) standards, including:

    • Theory instruction covering safety, regulatory compliance, and vehicle operation.

    • Behind-the-wheel instruction on both range and public roads.

Students will receive structured practice, classroom preparation, and mock evaluations to ensure readiness for DOL testing.
