Program Prerequisites for Enrollment – Class A CDL
To enroll in the Class A Commercial Driver License training program at 3C's Training, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Minimum Age: 18 years old (21 for interstate commerce)

Valid Washington State Driver’s License

Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card)

Washington State Driver’s Abstract (Driving Record)

Must be free from serious violations, suspensions, or DUI convictions within the last 3 years

Valid Social Security Number or proof of lawful presence

Completion of a School Application and Enrollment Agreement

Ability to Pass a Drug Screening Test

A DOT-compliant drug test will be administered prior to beginning behind-the-wheel training

What Certification or License Test Preparation Is Provided
The Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) program at 3C’s Training includes comprehensive preparation for all required knowledge and skills tests mandated by the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) under 49 CFR Part 380.

This program meets or exceeds all FMCSA ELDT requirements and is designed to ensure students are fully prepared to successfully pass both their CDL Knowledge Test and CDL Skills Exam in Washington State.
