The course consists of classroom training, driving, and inspections. Students will begin by driving in a controlled environment and will learn and practice the basics of inspecting a CMV in preparation for the CDL Skills test. Students will progress to road driving and additional challenges. Students will also be versed in advanced backing techniques, over the road techniques, and performance of city driving maneuvers, perform full pre-trip inspections, brake inspections.
