Refresher Training Refresher classes are offered based on individual need and are available only to those who already possess a valid CDL Class A license. Depending on the student's experience and training goals, the refresher course may range from as few as 8 hours up to a maximum of 40 hours. Refresher Course, Class A Refresher classes will be offered based on need. The refresher course/class will only be offered and/or available to those individuals who are already in possession of a CDL Class A license. Depending on the need of the student, the refresher course could be a little as 8 hours and up to 40 hours. Cost for the refresher training will be $150.00 per hour of training.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Valid CDL Class A licenseTo be eligible for enrollment in the CDL training program, candidates must complete an enrollment application, have a high school diploma or GED or pass an admissions examination designed to evaluate their ability to complete CDL training, be at least 18 years of age, and be able to read and speak the English language. They must possess a valid driver’s license for their state of residence and a valid Social Security card. Candidates must also demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks required for employment as a commercial and/or school bus driver, pass a DOT physical examination, and pass a drug screening for commercial drivers.
