CDL Dragons Truck School ETPL
Students will attend four weeks of classroom instruction and comprehensive Theory and Behind-The-Wheel training. They will learn about rules, regulations, and traffic laws. Students will also learn how to operate a Class B CDL truck, including pre-trip inspections and gear shifting. They will practice driving in both city and rural settings. Additionally, they will learn how to drive in challenging conditions, such as at night, in the snow, and in the rain. After completing 80 hours, students will be ready to take the required tests to obtain a CDL. Our Class A certification prepares students for careers in the trucking industry.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Age:You must be at least18 years oldfor intrastate driving (within state lines) and21 years oldfor interstate driving (across state lines) or transporting hazardous materials. Existing License:You must possess a valid, non-commercial driver's license with no active suspensions or revocations in any state. Residency and Identity:You must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (e.g., valid passport, birth certificate, or green card) and your Social Security number. Language:You must be able to read and speak English at a level sufficient to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and understand traffic signs. Medical: Must complete the DOT physical and pass a DOT drug test CLP Permit: Must obtain a valid CLP from DOL
