Pro Care Academy of Washington
This course provides further understanding and skills required for nursing assistants in today’s healthcare settings.  There are multiple learning opportunities with comprehensive lecture, hands-‐on practice and supportive learning environments.  Focus includes basic adult and geriatric care and introduction to pediatric care, and meets all Washington State and OBRA requirements.  Nursing assistants who are certified are eligible to work in a variety of healthcare settings including long term care, hospitals, rehabilitation, home health, and medical clinics.  Many healthcare professional programs such as nursing, paramedic and physician assistant schools require students to have some experience and/or training as a nursing assistant prior to program acceptance.
