The primary purpose of the Nursing Assistant Program is to prepare students for employment as certified nursing assistants. Successful completion of this program entitles the student to take the Washington State Certification Examination for Nursing Assistant. Certified nursing assistants work in long-term and acute care settings, as well as community agencies.
