Flight Instructor (CFI)

Preparation for the Certified Flight Instructor rating; includes flight time and critique. This training course meets all of the curriculum requirements for certification as stated in Appendix H of part 141. The training syllabus herein contains a separate ground course and flight training course. Each will be taught concurrently or separately, depending on the needs of the student. Each course (Ground or Flight) is usually completed in one quarter. The student will obtain the knowledge, skill, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a flight instructor certificate with airplane category and single engine class rating.
