The CDL Class A - Tractor-Trailer Training Program at EliteOne Academy is a comprehensive, state-approved course designed to prepare students for a successful career in commercial truck driving. This full-time, 160-hour program complies with the Washington State Department of Licensing and FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) standards. The program includes the following DOL-required hour breakdown: 40 hours - Classroom instruction; 18 hours - Street driving; 16 hours - Backing maneuvers; 16 hours - Proficiency development; 70 hours - Combined lab training, range driving, and observation. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to take and pass the Washington State CDL Class A knowledge and skills exams and begin employment as entry-level commercial drivers.

Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion that qualifies them to test for the WA State CDL Class A license.
