Tank Ship Dangerous Liquids (MARINS–501) course covers all subjects in 46 CFR Table 2 to 46 CFR 13.121(e) and the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended (STCW), Regulations V/1-1, V/1-2; Sections A-V/1-1-1, A-V/1-1-2, A-V/1-1-3; and Tables A-V/1-1-2, A-V/1-1-3 of the STCW Code. Any applicant who successfully completes the Tank Ship Dangerous Liquids (MARINS-501) course will satisfy the training requirements of 46 CFR 13.201(c)(4) for a national endorsement as Tankerman-PIC DL; 13.301(c)(4) for a national endorsement as Tankerman-PIC (Barge) DL; 46 CFR 13.603(a)(2), 46 CFR 13.603(b)(2), 46 CFR 13.603(c)(2) and STCW Code Table A-V/1-1-2 for an international STCW endorsement for Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Operations; and the requirements of 46 CFR 13.605(a)(2), 46 CFR 13.605(b)(2), 46 CFR 13.605(c)(2) and STCW Code Table A-V/1-1-3 for an international STCW endorsement for Advanced Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations.
