Scouting

Yakima Valley College ETPL
In agriculture, "Scouting" refers to the job of monitoring crops for pests, diseases and environmental stressors that can affect their production, and then making recommendations and/or taking action to correct these issues. The Scouting Certificate provides students with a concentration of courses in this specific technical area. The courses within the Scouting Certificate additionally apply toward the Production/Pest Management AAS degree.
