This two–quarter CNC Operator Certificate program prepares students for employment in the machining industry as an entry-level CNC Operator. Basic manual and CNC machine operation, with emphasis on the safe operation of mills and lathes, is an integral component of this program. Students receive foundational training in both theory and application of machining skills with an introduction to procedures in quality control, CNC set-up, and operation. Each required course for graduation must be completed with a grade of 2.0 or higher before proceeding to the next quarter.
