The Post-baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program at the Lacey Campus offers daytime, evening, and/or weekend classes of required courses leading to certification to teach in Washington and 45 other states. Upon completion of pre-requisite classes, a student begins basic core classes for certification and then enters either the elementary or secondary education track. The academic program takes approximately 2 years to complete plus an additonal 6 months of Student Teaching depending upon the semester credits a student has already received in a regionally accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
