Small Animal Foundation Massage Program 200 Clock Hour Program Designed to teach the fundamental skills needed to provide massage for the health and well-being of small animals (dogs, cats, companion animals). This blended learning program is completed through a combination of distance-learning (140 hour program) plus resident instruction (60 hour hands-on practical). Subjects of study include: Behavior Handling (30 hrs); Anatomy Physiology (55 hrs); Kinesiology (30 hrs); Massage Theory Practice (55 hrs); First Aid Pathology (20 hrs); Business Practices Ethics (10 hrs). Prerequisite: GED or Equivalent.
