Our Washington State approved hybrid massage therapy program offers students the convenience of completing approximately half of their massage education from home and on their own schedule. The online learning platform includes live-stream video classes, pre-recorded lessons, interactive chat rooms and forums, and online quizzes.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and complete the school’s admissions process prior to enrollment. Students must also meet any applicable Washington State requirements for massage therapy education and participation in clinical training activities.

Certification/license test preparation provided

Students in the program receive preparation for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), which is required for massage therapy licensure in Washington State. Test preparation is integrated throughout the curriculum and includes review of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, massage theory and practice, ethics, client assessment, and Washington State laws and regulations. Students also participate in practice quizzes, class reviews, and guided exam preparation activities designed to help build confidence and readiness for the licensing examination.
