This course will be a mixture of in class learning, self-paced learning, and lab. The course will utilize the National Glazier Association online course curriculum as a foundation for the course. Students will be introduced to the basics of curtain walls, including materials, systems, fabrication techniques, and installation processes. Discussion to include, but not limited to, system design, selection, material compatibility, specifications, safety, and special considerations. Special emphasis will be placed on jobsite safety requirements.

CITC students are required to have their own a laptop or tablet computer with video, audio, camera, microphone, and wireless network access with them on their fist day of class. It is crucial that students have the required textbooks and class materials by the first day of class. Students will be instructed on how to purchase the required e-text(s) on the first day of class. To purchase the stand alone NCCERConnect with e-text, students will need a Course ID #. Course ID will be provided by the course instructor. CITC Instructor will provide the Course ID no later than the first day of class.Students are expected to purchase the required e-texts during the first day of class.
