Through this course, students will learn to recognize, understand, and apply the specific properties and characteristics of heat-strengthened, chemically strengthened, coated, spandrel, laminated, insulating, bent and decorative glass, as well as mirrors; how to read labels on glass products; the codes associated with safety glazing in hazardous locations; and the differences between fire-rated and fire-resistive glass products.
