IMA’s online EMT program provides every student the opportunity to gain a nationally certified EMT certificate on the go! Our course offers students a user-friendly online learning platform along with a dedicated remote instructor for all of your questions or needs. Students must complete 2 parts of this course (Online and Skills Week) in order to test for your NREMT. Our online course is fully remote, while our skills week is in person at one of our campuses. To get started, find a campus nearest you to sign up for your skills week and begin your journey to becoming an EMT!

18 years of age or older. Hold current National Certification at EMT level or a current State EMT Certification (verified). Verification from the Program Director that you hold Basic Life Support CPR certification (AHA or equivalent) olds a High School Diploma or GED. The following immunizations: Hepatitis B (vaccine or waiver); Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) vaccine; TDap (vaccine or positive titer); Flu Shot (current year); Tuberculosis (negative TB test; Covid (proof of two rounds required). Clean criminal background (verify with the EMS Bureau). Drug Screening and current Medical Insurance for clinicals. The clinical site may allow waivers for certain immunizations (COVID for example). Clinical sites allow student to apply skills they learn during lab in real world situations. IMA ensures that during your skill labs you will be training with experienced providers.
