The final portion of the AMTL program offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills in one of three technical environments. The first option is a Winter Ski Mountaineering Program in the North Cascades of Washington State; the second is a program to develop more sophisticated technical skills on rock, snow and ice on the Ptarmigan Traverse in the North Cascades.
