AI Tools and Skills for Manufacturing

Northwest Innovation Resource Center
This four-week program will introduce manufacturing professionals to specific applications and use cases of generative AI in manufacturing including product design, prototyping, simulation and testing. Generative Design: multiple design alternatives based on specified constraints, enabling faster and more innovative prototyping. Automated 3D Model Creation: AI converts text descriptions and images into 3D models, streamlining the creation process for rapid prototyping. Print Optimization: AI optimizes 3D printing parameters to enhance print quality and reduce material usage, making the prototyping process more efficient. Simulation and Testing: predict how a design will perform under various conditions, reducing need for physical prototypes
