This is the standard license for professional truck drivers. It’s necessary for any vehicle weighing over 26,000 pounds, and towing over 10,000 pounds. This includes semi-tractor trailers, double and triple trailers, tankers, livestock carriers, and flatbeds. A Class A license also enables you to drive Class B and Class C vehicles.
