The HCA 75-Hour program prepares the student for an allied health career of Home Care Aid. Sunrise offers a hybrid program approved by DSHS which is based on their book: The Fundamentals of Caregiving. Days 1-4 are online and provide the students with videos developed by the training director which provide mini-lectures followed by learning activities and quizzes. Days 5-7 are completed in class with 16 hours of instruction being done in the skill lab, allowing students to learn the steps of each required skill and to practice them to mastery.
