Radiation Therapy BAS
This is a full-time program for students without any prior experience in the radiation therapy field. Approximately 10 students may be admitted each year to our Radiation Therapy program with a curriculum that starts every fall quarter in September. Bellevue College’s Radiation Therapy program is a four-year program including general education prerequisite requirements in the first year. Students must apply and be accepted to complete the third and fourth years of the program. Students will study pathology, oncology, radiation physics, treatment planning, and human relations in addition to getting extensive hands-on experience in a modern clinical setting. The primary modes of instruction are delivered as traditional, synchronous, face to face and practicum learning. Students must be able to meet on campus on a weekly basis. A fraction of the curriculum content may be delivered using other modalities to include online, asynchronous, blended, hybrid or HyFlex modes.
