This program introduces students to the skills needed for entry to mid-level careers in computer and network support. Instruction combines theoretical concepts with hands-on practice, ensuring graduates can apply knowledge in real-world settings. This program includes how to troubleshoot hardware and application issues, become skilled using virtualization, support businesses through cloud computing, and strengthen expertise in cybersecurity practices to protect computers and network systems. The curriculum builds a foundation in emerging technologies while offering pathways to industry-recognized certifications from CompTIA, or Microsoft. Career opportunities for graduates include IT support specialist, computer support specialist, desktop support technician, service desk technician, help desk analyst, or network support specialist.
