Less math, more fun! With the increase in manufacturing, so has the demand for skilled electronics and robotics technicians. Many of today’s manufacturing processes rely on automation and robotics. Even though this equipment may have reduced manual labor, the human touch is still necessary to make it all work. In Bates Tech’s Automation and Mechatronics program, students learn to install, diagnose, maintain, modify, test, and calibrate electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems used in manufacturing support equipment and production machinery, including industrial robots. If you have a creative mind, like to solve problems and work with computers, then seize the opportunity to be a part of this burgeoning field.
